Brow Precare steps

Stop using all retinoids (Retin-A, Tretinoin, Differin etc), These products cause bleeding, sensitivity and poor pigment retention.
Stop using Brow Growth Serums – they increase bleeding and diffuse the pigment.

Do NOT use Steroids (oral, injection or topical) within 4 weeks of your session.
Stop using acne treatments, BHA/AHA serums, Hyaluronic Acid (check all your makeup, skincare and SPF products. Sometimes called “HA” or “sodium Hyaluronate”) near the brow area. These products interfere with pigment implantation.
Avoid sunbathing, burning or tanning on your face. Do not arrive with sunburned, freshly tanned or peeling skin near the brow area.
If you have a history of anemia, take steps for optimal blood iron.

Begin applying a thin layer of aquaphor over your brows at night before bed.

No botox or filler near the brow area
Do not use blood thinners such as NSAIDS (Naproxin, ASPRIN, ibuprofen) If prescribed, ask your doctor.
Avoid vitamins and green juicing
Stop using Saunas and steam rooms
Drink plenty of water and hydrating foods
Avoid alcohol

Avoid excessive caffeine
Be well hydrated—drink water
Avoid SPF, skin care and makeup to the brow area.
Get a full nights sleep and reduce stress where possible. Please don’t be out partying the night before your appointment. The skin heals best when your body is rested.

Please arrive without makeup, skin care, oils or SPF on your forehead.
Eat a light, nourishing meal.
No intense workouts.
